Many of my friends and clients with Fibromyalgia have shared with me how frustrating their disease. Their frustration comes when they reach out for help and feel like they get nothing or get treated like they are crazy-making it up. And it is confusing stuff– how can you feel bad all over and nothing is “broken”.
But there is work in the scientific community that is explaining how that happens. From my understanding is boils down to too many nerves all in crisis–sending signals that something is wrong. I’m sure that’s a gross oversimplification 🙂 but it’s a model I can work with.
It turns out that Bowen Technique addresses nerve pain, where ever it is. By relaxing the fascia which cradles nerves and all other tissue, nerves get to relax too.
